About the Course

New workshop

You will be able to make a sterling silver ring at this workshop by using a different type of Art Clay Silver. This type of art clay silver is stronger than regular Art Clay Silver and allows us to bend the metal more easily without breaking it after firing. The end result will be a sterling silver ring you will be proud of.

This Silver Clay ring making class is a natural progression from the beginner’s workshop and you will enhance your previous knowledge and add new skills to your metal clay skill sets.

Creating rings in metal clay can be one of the major tasks. As the clay shrinks during firing, the most significant thing to work out is making the ring to the correct finished size.

You will use approximately 12gr of silver to make your perfectly fitting textured wrap ring. Please note this ring needs to be kiln fired which will happen during the lunch break.

Places are limited to 4, so booking is essential.

If booking with a CraftCourses voucher for part or all of the course fee, please fill in the contact form above. Your voucher code must be provided at the point of booking.
