Course Start DatesSaturday 18th January 2020
About the Course
Come and join Sara from Whole Punching for a creative workshop learning the relaxing techniques of punch needle embroidery. Needle punch or punch needle, is a modern take on a traditional craft which was originally centred around making rugs. Now the technique is used to make a whole range of different modern textile items including wall hangings, cushion covers and bags. Sara will guide attendees in creating their own punch needle hoop wall hanging using either one of her designs or their own. All materials will be provided and there will be yarn available to take away to finish the project. As one in a small group, attendees will have lots of Sara's time and attention in creating their wall hanging. Refreshments will be provided throughout the course.
The ticket price for this workshop includes a pre-stretched hoop with monks cloth (punch needle fabric), adjustable punch needle and selection of yarn in order to create a hoop wall hanging.
There will also be an opportunity to purchase additional materials and tools, including additional hoops and yarn.
