Needle felted brooch with wildflower embroidery Sutton Coldfield
Description
Learn how to create a needle-felted brooch with embroidered wildflower detail. I'll take you through the complete process where we'll: - Create the basic shape using merino wool. - Add some floral embroidery, other fibres and beads where required. - Finish the back. You can choose the colours and flowers. I'll provide plenty of inspiration or you may have a favourite wildflower photo, flower or place so you can create your own totally unique brooch. All of this takes place within the beautiful and inspirational setting of The Boulevard Allotments in Wylde Green. You'll go home with a finished brooch to wear yourself or gift to someone special. Class size will be limited to no more than 6 attendees. Rachel is self-taught having been inspired by attending a Surface Design course at the Midlands Arts Centre. She has been needle felting for seven years now.
