About the Course
This course will be taught by Liberty - an experienced needle and wet felter with her own business and Etsy shop based on her felted designs.
This course is suitable for beginners and those who wish to practise with a wide selection of wools types and colours. £15 per person (£25 for adult and child coming together)
The morning will begin with a brief introduction to the different wools and basic technique with a some useful tips to get you started on your first project. Children are given ready prepared woollen ball to felt onto to make their own pet - similar to the bee in the gallery photos.
Adults are guided to felt onto fabric a simple animal shape at first with the help of a template to practise what they have learnt which can then be made up into a heart or picture to be framed.
All materials are provided and coffee, soft drinks , cakes and sandwiches are available in the café downstairs.
The course is held upstairs at the Angel Café in the High Street Langport, a lovely old building with a large window upstairs to give lots of light a good view of the garden.
With sufficient interest this may become a regular event with different projects provided each month. Kits will also be available for those wanting to do some more at home.

What's included in the price?
All wool and utensils are provided. Refreshments are available from the café but not included in the price.
Parking in Langport is free and for those who may have someone coming along for the ride Langport has a lovely river-side walk, glass blowing gallery and a High Street with individual shops.
