Needle-felting course with FURZIE at Swan House Tea Room, Woolaston, Gloucestershire

About the Course
Needlefelting is a wonderful craft, even if you don't think you are creative, the wool somehow inspires you to create. The course is suitable for beginners or those with some experience of felting already. You will be taught the basics of needle-felting, how to make a wire armature structure for your animal and how to sculpt with wool.
The needle-felting courses are held at Swan House Tea Room, Woolaston, on the A48 between Gloucester and Chepstow (GL15 6AD). There is parking there and lunch will be provided, as well as wool!
You can choose what animal you would like to make (within reason!), but pick something you love and you are familiar with how it looks, bring photos and especially a picture of the animal from the side view, so that we can get the proportions right - I will help you with this, don't worry about it! Just let me know what animal you would like to make, so I can bring the right colour wool.
Courses also available in Gloucestershire, Herefordshire and elsewhere. For more information, click on "More courses run at this centre" below.
If booking with a CraftCourses voucher for part or all of the course fee, please fill in the contact form above or telephone us. Your voucher code must be provided at the point of booking.

Michelle was very knowledgeable and very patient, and very gifted.
I enjoyed my day very much, and was so delighted to have made a dog to take home.
I think I'm hooked on this hobby😀

Loved everything about it - perfect venue, course pitched just right, everyone was encouraged and helped to just the right degree. Everyone went home with something that they were absolutely chuffed with and without a clutch of useful, transferable techniques. Excellent value for money and such a lovely way to spend the day. Couldn't fault it! Many thanks, Michelle!
