About the Course
Needlefelting is a wonderful craft, even if you don't think you are creative, the wool somehow inspires you to create. The course is suitable for beginners or those with some experience of felting already. You will be taught the basics of needle-felting, how to make a wire armature structure for your animal and how to sculpt with wool.
The needle-felting courses are held at Hanley Farm Shop, which is just outside Chepstow (NP16 7NA) from 10am until 4.30pm. There is parking there and lunch will be provided, as well as wool!
For the course cost of £70.00 you can choose what animal you would like to make (within reason!), but pick something you love and you are familiar with how it looks, bring photos and especially a picture of the animal from the side view, so that we can get the proportions right - I will help you with this, don't worry about it! Just let me know what animal you would like to make, so I can bring the right colour wool.
There is some self-catering accommodation available at this venue, please contact them direct for details.
Courses also available in Gloucestershire, Herefordshire and elsewhere. For more information, click on "More courses run at this centre" below.
If booking with a CraftCourses voucher for part or all of the course fee, please fill in the contact form above or telephone us. Your voucher code must be provided at the point of booking.
