This was my second course with Karin. The first was a one day course to make a hedgehog. I had never tried needle felting before and was delighted to take home not just a hedgehog but a beautiful little creature with his own personality. The two day workshop learning to make a wired armature animal was amazing! Karin is a brilliant teacher and such a lovely person to spend time with. I created a wonderful hare - far beyond anything I thought I might achieve - and learned so much. A wonderful workshop which I highly recommend. Thank you Karin. I really look forward to doing another one.

Amazing! Brilliant! Such fun! I cannot recommend this 2 day needle felting course that I have just taken with Karin enough. Wish it hadn't finished and I was spending more time learning with her. Will definitely do another one with her and am now completely hooked!!

A wonderful experience. I was a complete novice she taught me so well and gave me confidence to really own my creature. I never expected to be able to produce such a wonderful animal. I am known to be clumsy but with Karin's gentle guidance i am thrilled with the end result. I didnt want the 2 days to end and am now awaiting the chance for another workshop. Do go if you get the chance

What a fantastic way to spend a weekend! The workshops were great fun but also really informative and very well supplied with quality materials and tools. Karin made sure everyone got to create their own character and took special care to ensure we all felt supported with our ideas. The workshops are well structured so you quickly build your confidence. This was my first foray into felting but I'm looking forward to doing another workshop weekend.

Just been on another course with Karin. I feel like I learn something new every time and once again I have come away with something I am truly proud of. Karin is able to pitch the course just right for all students so it doesn't matter if you have not been before or you have been a few times. She is so encouraging it makes you want to keep going after the course is done.

I absolutely loved this two day workshop! It was just wonderful in every way. Karin Celestine's teaching was fantastic and my bear is so much more beautiful than I thought I would ever achieve as a beginner. She really encouraged all of us to find our own way of expressing what we wanted. Her technical knowledge of different wools and techniques was superb and fascinating - I learned all sorts of things! I left having bought a little kit to have a go on my own, but I can't wait for another workshop!!

This two-day course was my second try at needle-felting with Karin. The first time was a one-day course making a hedgehog, and I was sure I would go home with an unrecognisable blob, being all fingers and thumbs generally. But instead I had a wonderful day and took home a beautiful hedgehog made by me! This time I went ambitious and made a dragon! This is the confidence Karin gives you that you can do it, even if you're an absolute beginner and certain that you don't have a creative bone in your body. She's a wonderful teacher, a warm and humourous lady and I'm telling you, not only will you have a lovely day, you will also find yourself to be more creative than you thought.

A friendly workshop with skilled tuition - with no experience at all in felting techniques I came away with a characterful, structured weasel of great charm! We had great fun, while acquiring new expertise - we were all encouraged to select an animal of choice, they were all different, and had plenty of support to achieve a representational figure with plenty of expression.
Roll on the next course!

I have been on several workshops run by Karin over the last couple of years and they have all been really wonderful. Interesting venues, lovely food and a great tutor. Karin really does make it easy to learn and express yourself. Trust me you WILL make something which amazes you!
I have made several needle felted creatures who have pride of place on my shelf, along with Karin's wonderful creations. and enjoyed a day of fun, craft and laughter. Well worth booking to come on this and you will learn a lot. And you get to be a part of the Tribe if you join the club, which I recommend you do as it is such fun!

Karin is a great teacher, encouraging you to create something better than you thought you could, and everyone's creature reflects their own character so you don't all come out with a "cookie-cutter" creature.
Therecis also lots of laughter and general silliness and usually chocolate.
I made a unicorn at one of these workshops.

I have attended several courses with Karin. She has taken me as a complete beginner to someone who now likes to do a bit of felting in their spare time. She is a supremely patient teacher, who is fun and so enthusiastic about everything her students are making. She is able to visualise our creatures, even when wr cant and guide us all so that at the end of the course everyone leaves with something that they are proud of. I would recommend Karin's courses to anyone.
