Lets celebrate the month of May and all we hope it will bring us in 2021
Guest tutor for the May Wreath session Mrs.B a passionate crafter has been teaching craft workshops across the island for the last 5 years she is known for being one of those ladies that just adds magic sprinkles to any crafting session. We are lucky that she is showing us all how to make a sublime May wreath using all local natural materials sourced from her fathers Chine on the back of the Wight; including some of her own air-dried supplies.
Come and create your own spring wreath from fresh foliage. Starting with a willow or Metal base. You’ll be adding lots of seasonal greenery including leather leaf ferns, pussy willow, and forsythia just to name a few. All materials are gathered sustainably from my Fathers secret garden which is tucked away in a small Chine on the south coast of the island.
All materials are included but please feel free to bring your own adornments so you can add your own personal touch.
UPDATE : we have received advice from Isle of Wight council on how to run our workshops. We will be running the workshop for ten guests max - two groups of 5 on seperate table groupings. The tutors and staff from Tiny Homes will be able to move between groups - in the manner of waiting staff in a restaurant setting. All sensible precautions will be taken.
Also pictured below are some of last years fantastic Christmas wreaths to give you an idea. They all had the green wow factor!
Cancellation and a full refund can be obtained up to 2 weeks before the course starts. Start dates may be amended on request.
All materials are included ..... but of course feel free to bring anything you would like to use ... or recycle!
Refreshments included
