Nativity Scene - Adult beginners needle felting full day workshop

Taking place at The Art Yard gallery in Cradley Heath, from 10am-5pm this is an adult needle felting workshop with tutor Natalie Harris (Brooks). Natalie is a fine artist using needle felting and the creator of Roly Poly Ponies. This workshop is aimed at adult (18+) beginners. First timers are welcome, but as this is a full day workshop it may feel like a lot...I do have plenty of the standard 3 hour beginners workshops with festive themes, so please have a look at those if you wold like to begin with a smaller project. We will be creating the three figures and constructing the scene itself. All materials are provided. Tea and coffee will be available, but lunch is not included. Please bring a packed lunch with you. Natalie is a fine artist that has been using needle felting as a part of her practice since 2015. Natalie uses felting in both 2D and 3D works and has had work shown nationally including the RBSA, Society of Equestrian Artists, Wolverhampton Art Gallery, The New Art Gallery Walsall and The Herbert, Coventry. Notable exhibitions include National Trust owned Beningbrough Hall's "Oh Wise Owl" sculpture trail in 2017. In 2018 she was selected for the "Character Portrait Project" through Midland Film and Arts. She was part of the George Stubbs inspired exhibition at Normanby Hall and Country Park in 2024. Natalie is a lead artist at The Art Yard in Cradley Heath and regularly shows work with them. Natalie is also the creator of the fun and quirky Roly Poly Ponies and runs regular workshops for all levels.
