An introduction to making sculptures with movement. We will explore the effect of various forces and mechanical devices such as cranks, levers, cams and gears and how they can be used to create mobiles, simple automata and puppets. All levels welcome. This courses is technician supported.

Drawing, sculpting and construction using mixed materials, Step by step instruction, demonstration and observation, Open Question and Answer Group discussion and feedback , Photographic record of work in progress.

Basic materials included but extra charge for materials used over and above the allocated material course fee.
