In this one day workshop you will learn how to create a bird or fish cane topper for the garden made from vintage and antique china. This craft known as “Pique Assiette” (‘stolen plate’) is a way of reusing and re-loving broken and unwanted china. You will learn how to select, nip, design and create your piece and as it needs time to totally dry I will give a detailed demonstration on how to grout and finish at home. All materials, tuition, tools and refreshments will be supplied.
*The option of me grouting and finishing for you and posting back is available for £12
