About the Course
On the day workshop (I’m flexible with dates) you will work within a relaxed and encouraging environment, in the home of Kate Baker, owner and founder of Kate Baker mosaic muse.
The day begins at 0930/10am and finishes around 3/330pm, but if necessary the day can be extended slightly. You will be taught the techniques to cut mosaic glass and discarded broken ceramics, to create the andamento or flow/feel within your design. Ultimately you will create a bespoke interior wall art piece with a new history.
There will be refreshment breaks (provided) and a lunch break (not provided) with the day ending when you have completed your mosaic.
Mosaic materials will be purchased 3 weeks before the agreed day, with your non refundable deposit of £50 (used to buy/source materials for your design) and the mosaic will be grouted and then cleaned after the day by the course tutor Kate. She will then contact to arrange collection.
If booking with a CraftCourses voucher for part or all of the course fee, please fill in the contact form above or telephone us. Your voucher code must be provided at the point of booking.
