Mokume Gane; gift making, polymer clay (online)
Mokume Gane is an old Japanese technique used with metals that is adapted to use with polymer clay resulting in always magically beautiful pieces of art. You will be guided through the steps and once you have created your own, unique sheet of Mokume Gane clay, you decide what objects you will turn it into: jewellery, little dishes, buttons, key-rings or other objects; your imagination will guide you and you will create a selection of items. This course requires a minimum of two people to run, so why not invite someone to join you? Or, if you want to surprise someone to this workshop (with you), I'll wrap everything up prettily and send it directly to their address with a personalised message as I love wrapping up presents.

For more than 17 years I provide after school art clubs and I still love it, but I have always wanted to work with adults so I get to work with materials and techniques that need more time and are too advanced to use with kids. I also want to prove that everyone can enjoy being creative and make something they are happy with. So far it works. After a Colourbuzz workshop everyone goes away with work they are proud of and pleased with!
