About the Course
Modern calligraphy has become very popular over the last few years and can be seen everywhere from publishing material, to menus, wedding stationery and cards. This is a more relaxed style of lettering using a pointed dip pen compared to traditional calligraphy and is versatile and fun. The course will be taught by an experienced calligrapher who enjoys the challenge of new scripts and techniques and modern calligraphy is no exception.
This is a shorter version of the previously advertised course and will teach students from the beginning, but improvers are also welcome. The course content will cover writing the alphabet, joining, spacing, layout, using coloured ink and gouache and writing on different papers.
If booking with a CraftCourses voucher for part or all of the course fee, please fill in the contact form above or telephone us. Your voucher code must be provided at the point of booking.
