By popular demand...!! Tania's unique sculptures are made using her own "top secret" methods but she now brings you the chance to daringly decoupage a decorative pair for your delight! Tania's sculptures are not flimsy paper mache but a combination of recycled materials that form a solid object.
You will be provided with a blank Robin and Bee mixed media sculpture, handcrafted by Tania, that you can decorate yourself and take home. The Robin and Bee have a D ring attached so that you can hang them on the wall. Tania will supply you with everything you need to make colourful personalised pieces in the friendly environment of her studio.
Please note: this course offers flexible dates and times. The course is limited to two people from the same household or bubble for the duration of the pandemic. Disposable face masks and hand sanitiser are provided if you don't have your own, children must also wear a mask. There are free range cats and chickens onsite so please leave dogs at home.
If you will be redeeming a CraftCourses gift voucher on this course, the voucher code must be provided at the point of booking.
Everyone works at a different pace but most participants will be able to complete one bird and one bee in the session. The course is currently running at 2 hours to limit any risk from Covid so please note that it may still be necessary to finish your sculptures at home. Alternatively, you are welcome to book in for a follow up session to finish your artwork!
You will be supplied with a pre-prepared bee and bird blank sculpture, newspaper, tissue paper, pva glue, paint and decoupage materials. There are aprons and latex gloves available if you like to make a mess! Other designs of sculpture blanks are sold separately if you fancy something more ambitious.
Tania will offer her expert guidance in your quest for creative success in addition to hot beverages, soft drinks and fascinating conversation!
