About the Course

The aim of the Women’s Joinery Workshop is to teach the fundamental knowledge, skill and confidence in the proper, effective use of the basic essential hand tools for practical, high-quality joinery. Over our six weeks together we will cover the basic joints, techniques and practical considerations required to independently and confidently undertake a huge range of practical carpentry tasks.

Please get in touch or see the website for available dates. If no course is due to start soon, we will take contact details of people to be placed on a wait list and be contacted nearer the time.

If booking with a CraftCourses voucher for part or all of the course fee, please fill in the contact form above or telephone us. Your voucher code must be provided at the point of booking.

What's included in the price?

As a vehicle for this we will mostly focus on completing a small project piece, however, all the skills we will cover in session are highly transferable and there will be an emphasis on how everything learned can and should be applied to house carpentry, furniture repairs, finish joinery and even arts and crafts. the workshop will be ran by experienced joiners and woodworkers who will allow you to use a wide range of tools and teach a variety of techniques and skills. There will be a specific lesson plan for each week.

Can be booked by clicking on the website link.
