Metal clay jewellery making with Hiraeth Creative

About the Course
On this one day course, you will learn how to make your own beautiful jewellery with silver metal clay.
The magic of this process is that a few minutes of firing and the clay turns to silver!
The clay is a fantastic medium to work with and can be fired with a chef’s blowtorch allowing you to create some stunning jewellery on the kitchen table!
During the course you will have the chance to make two or three pieces depending on your design ideas. We will also be looking at how to make ear wires, head pins and how to connect pendants to a chain.
Your course tutor Leah will be on hand to guide you step by step and ensure you take home a piece of jewellery to be proud of. You will be joining Leah in her studio in the heart of Folkestone’s Creative Quarter, where she designs and creates jewellery in silver and gold for several local shops and by commission for clients around the world.
