A practical three-day course showing a range of experimental techniques using found and recycled materials with Jennifer Collier. The skills learnt over each day will feed into one another, allowing you to create a range of samplers and garments to use in your ongoing practice.

By the end of the course, you will have:

Explored traditional embroidery techniques using paper.
Made small paper garments, such as bibs, gloves, shirts and small dresses, using a range of traditional hand and machine stitch techniques.
Created Paper Patchwork, Pleating, Paper Pockets, Button Loops, Covered Buttons and Covered Bindings using found and recycled papers.
Developed your skills and completed your own self-directed project.

Cancellation and a full refund can be obtained up to 8 weeks before the course starts. Start dates may be amended on request.

What's included in the price?

Sewing machines will be provided. Please bring your own special papers, books, maps and ephemera, also magazine images, plastic carrier bags, haberdashery, photos, stamps, tag, petal/leaves, scrap fabrics and anything else that will personalise the work that you will make.
