Whether you are a beginner or have some previous experience, you will develop and learn new skills using the traditional craft of stained glass making techniques. You will gain an understanding of the materials, techniques and processes involved while designing, choosing you colours, patterns and textures from glass, cutting, panelling and cementing the final lead piece.
The program will be led and taught by the Head of Glass with Demonstrations, hands-on making, and one-to-one tuition. She will guide you through techniques in this traditional craft skills to create a stained glass panel.

Teaching takes place in practical workshops with both group demonstrations and discussions and support.
All students negotiate personal learning goals and projects with the tutor. You will be working on from the design and paneling stages. You will be able to explore materials, textures, surface quality, colours in different styles.
To ensure that you make the best possible progress on your course, you will have regular feedback from your tutor, in a constructive and supportive environment.
