Getting Married? Having a civil partnership? Why not make your day even more special! Come to the beautiful county of Carmarthenshire and make your own wedding rings under the guidance of award winning designer and maker Mark Fenn.
Learn to make your own unique Wedding rings in Mark's studio workshop at Dolwerdd. Situated in Capel Iwan, in the stunning Welsh Countryside of Carmarthenshire Mark will guide though each step of the making process and by the end of the day you will complete your very own unique, one-off handmade wedding rings.
What's included in the price?
All tools and equipment are supplied. The only extra cost is the price of the your chosen Metal i.e silver or gold ( please Note we do not offer rings making in Platinum ). The cost of the metal is worked out and agree before you attend. The day starts at 10am with a cup of tea or coffee and an introduction to the workshop and of course biscuits of which there is always a full tin of! We then start creating your rings, and Mark will demonstrate and guide you through each stage. By lunchtime you will have your basic shaped and soldered rings. A delicious home made lunch will be provided at 1pm, we can cater for all dietary requirements, At 2:00pm we will start the work of filing, finishing and polishing your rings. We have a little break later in the afternoon for tea & home made Cakes these are baked by Mark to your request i.e Chocolate sponge cake with chocolate butter icing, Classic Victoria sponge cake or Cappuccino Cupcakes with white chocolate & sour cream icing. The day will end with a glass of bubbly, and a glance through the photographs we've taken to document your day - these will be shared with you via Dropbox or by memory stick. You will also have a double ring box for you to keep your rings safe until the big day.
