Make your own Sketchbooks, Bullet Journals, Diaries or Notepads Learn at Home in Your Own Time
Start your bookbinding journey in the comfort of your own home at completely your own pace. Detailed clear demo videos show you the processes step by step so you can pause, skip or re-watch to your hearts content. The kit provided ensures that you'll not only have everything you need for the course but to be able to carry on afterwards too. I can be available via email and WhatsApp to answer questions if needed (by arrangement). Work with traditional book binding materials and techniques and get creative with alternative structures and styles. You will begin by learning to cut and stitch the pages and use canvas to create a hardback cover, resulting in a gorgeous hard back book. You will then be able to go onto exploring larger, designs with a variety of techniques, covers and materials. You will finish the course with at least 2 gorgeous books and the skills to continue creating afterwards. This series of exercises is the equivalent of a full day course including making time and will enable you to feel confident enough in the process to keep making books afterwards. Please choose from the following colour themes: Autumn, Summer or Aqua. And the name / message you would like engraved onto the top of your book press (that's included in the kit). Please message me with your choices and the address you would like your kit sent to. Please allow 7 - 10 days for delivery of your kit.

where is all began … I first learnt to crochet as a child and spent hours and hours making, sewing, knitting and learning every new technique possible in art, craft and design. After a degree in Graphics and with 16 years experience teaching Textiles, Graphics, Art & Design and Design & Technology I strongly believe in developing my own practice to be the best tutor I can be. I am continually inspired by my students of all ages so it's definitely and 2 way street!
