About the Course
Learn how to make resin artwork with author and resin expert Clare John.
Join Clare to learn how to make exciting resin art for your home. From coating existing paintings to making brand new artwork with epoxy resin, pigments and embellishments. During the workshop you will make resin paintings on both canvas and board. Clare will show you how to do a 'dirty pour' and a 'swipe technique' with pigmented resin.
You will use the full range of transparent and opaque pigments alongside the wonderful selection of mica powders. We will be asking you to choose the colours you would like to work with before you come so get your thinking caps on!
Please note that the artwork will be abstract and not representational. You will make at least 3 resin paintings (which will be sent to you once they have fully cured, after the class).
Clare John has been using resins for over 40 years and has published a book ‘Resin Jewellery’ that is full of instructions, tips, gallery pages and 16 step-by-step projects to inspire and guide you.
This is great class for those of you who have never worked with resin before. Not suitable for under 16 years old. The price includes all materials and a light lunch. Please contact us if you have any specific dietary requirements.
The class will run in our Cotswold studio (Winchcombe, Gloucestershire).

Brilliant course which was perfectly placed to meet everyone's needs and such fun. Clare is an amazing teacher who immediately puts everyone at ease and makes sure everyone gets the most they can out of the day.

I thoroughly enjoyed the resin course last Saturday. Clare explained the different processes and techniques clearly. The pace of the course was fine and we all ended up making several items.
