About the Course
Hello! I’m Richard from Twisted Earth Ceramics and I am based in West Yorkshire, just a short distance from Leeds and Bradford. I make hand-crafted animal sculptures, wall hangings and vessels, all of which begin life from a single block of clay.
Why not spend the day learning how to make a sculpture to be proud of using my technique that is fun, expressive and gets the results you want. The workshops are suitable for beginners or for those with some experience of handling clay.
The choice is yours- Highland Cattle, Moon Gazing Hare, Billy Goats, Animal Wall Art or Moggy Cat Workshops.
The following workshops will run on the following dates and are very popular, be quick because they sell out fast!.

The workshop (unless otherwise stated) all run from The Triangle, which is a pleasantly warm and well lit art space with good car parking near the beautiful Yorkshire village of Saltaire (Unesco world heritage status) . There are good transport links with main bus routes and Saltaire & Shipley train station is very close by.
Brews & biscuits are provided throughout the day. Please bring a sandwich, otherwise there are plenty of shops and cafes in the area.
There are options to finish and decorate your piece once fired, which include a return glazing session (£15 extra to pay on the day), otherwise you can collect your sculpture and decorate in your own time with for example acrylics, or I can alternativley finish it with a single colour oxide.

I just wanted to drop you a line to thank you for your awesomeness today.
I can honestly say I've never been on a course where I felt so chillaxed & supported in achieving the set brief.
You need to give yourself a massive pat kind on the back( cow kind of course) for today's sculpture course on how fab the experience was from learners perspective. I feel your enthusiasm in what you do, radiates & projects into your classes, making the whole experience much more rewarding.
This infectiousness as left me feeling inspired. Idd love to come back & join you again for a different course later in the year
All the best Rich & thanks again
