About the Course
One day stained glass course offered by the Field Studies Council.
On this one day course you will make a stained glass heart. You can choose to make either a ‘patchwork’ hanging or a mirror, using a pattern prepared by the tutor. The finished heart will measure approx 28cm high. The course is a practical one and includes glass cutting, copper foiling and soldering.
The course begins at 9.30am but please arrive at 9am to have time to look around before you begin.
• If you are pregnant, you should consult your GP before enrolling on this course, as working with solder can be harmful to the developing baby.
If booking with a CraftCourses voucher for part or all of the course fee, please fill in the contact form above or telephone us. Your voucher code must be provided at the point of booking.

Carole is an excellent teacher it doesn't matter at what level you work she will help you to achieve an item. Carole prepared the course well and the setting was perfect.
Very pleased with the item produced, and will be returning to Carole's stained glass courses again.

The course was very well prepared and my wife and I both succeeded in making very presentable stained glass hearts - with Carole's help and support. Approach to health and safety was exemplary. The day as a whole exceeded my expectations.

With the help of Carole who is a really good and patient tutor, I was able to make a beautiful heart shaped stained glass with a mirror in the centre. I am thrilled with what I managed to achieve.
The venue is exceptional, and I feel really privileged to have been able to do the course there.
