Howden is a lovely historic market town just off the M62, with many bars and eateries. There is a car park within walking distance of both my home and the Hall.
I had a fantastic morning learning how to make a wet felt bowl - something I had long wanted to do. Lorna worked alongside me on her own bowl, and this made the learning so much easier, as I was able to see first had the techniques that she used. I have to say that her teaching skills are exceptional, and I am thrilled to bits with my finished bowl. Thank you so much Lorna.

So many techniques explained and demonstrated. I learnt a new skill and enjoyed the day so much, and there is such a lot of inspiration in the gallery. Looking forward to going again

Very enjoyable day with a new skill learnt. Lorna was very good at explaining the process and helping out too. I went home with a lovely felted painting to frame and show off !
