About the Course
Learn how to put a modern twist to an ancient craft. Find out how to build layers around a resist to make a small felted bowl to either give as a gift or keep to put pot pourri or bits and bobs in! You will learn how to handle the wool, lay it correctly and use soap and water, taking a flat piece into a three dimensional form.
Penny has been a felt artist for 15 years and has taught at Walsall Museum, Black Country Museum and MAC among many other venues. She has exhibited at the NEC, QE Hospital, Solihull Arts Centre, MAC, Worcester City Art Gallery and many more. She is a member of the Heritage Crafts Association and the International Feltmakers Association.
This is a two hour session in the lovely surroundings of the Kitchen Garden Cafe in the heart of busy Kings Heath. You may fancy relaxing in the bar afterwards and discuss your new skill. Suitable for beginners and improvers.

What's included in the price?
Price includes all materials and tuition. Reasonably priced refreshments are available but you may wish to focus on the session and then relax in the bar afterwards.
