About the Course
'Made by Me' Lino printing on fabric workshop. Please contact me to enquire about the start times of each workshop and to book your place.
Suitable for beginners – as a process Lino printing is lovely it gives very unique marks. The focus is that you have a bit of fun and that you go home with at least one small length of printed fabric and an embroidery hoop frame to mount your print on. You will cut your own design on to a soft cut lino block/plates that are 150cm by 20cm (or smaller if you prefer eg 8 by 8 cm blocks can be cut and printed in under 2 hours)
Please bring a drawing or printed simple image to work with, you will be able to work faster if you have decided what design you want to cut and if you have a printed image of it that’s to scale. Please feel free to work on a design that is ‘picture’ in its own right, a repeatable motif or a tile like repeat/boarder design and to explore your own cut design/motif onto paper too. Please allow a min 4.5 hours for exploring papers etc but.
Any questions, please drop me a wee note.
