About the Course

On this one day course, our lovely sewing tutor, Nicky Vinti, will teach (or remind) you of the basics of machine sewing. You'll learn how to:

use or improve your sewing machine skills
use a number of different stitches
complete a simple kimono top

You will need to bring a packed lunch and your fabric.

Fabric required: 2 metres of linen, linen mix or dressmaking quality cotton fabric that is at least 140cm / 55" wide.

IMPORTANT - You will need to pre wash and iron your fabric before the day, to allow for any shrinkage.

The course will be take place at our base in South Oxhey. Enjoy some time to relax and get creative with like-minded sewing enthusiasts!
