About the Course

Explore with established artist and tutor, Morag Tweedie, the relief printing technique known as 'lost-lino' or 'reduction printing' to produce a series of colourful prints without the use of a printing press.

The process includes designing and transferring your image onto a lino block, cutting the block for the first and successive prints (hence the term ‘lost lino’), mixing and applying ink and making a series of registered prints on a range of papers.

The workshop is suitable for complete beginners as well as for those with some experience. All materials supplied. A fun and friendly environment in the beautiful, converted Old Brewery.

If booking with a CraftCourses voucher for part or all of the course fee, please fill in the contact form above. Your voucher code must be provided at the point of booking.

What's included in the price?

All materials plus tea & coffee is included. Please bring a packed lunch. If the weather is fine, we can sit out in the garden or stretch your legs down on the beach. Cromarty is a stunning location - a vibrant, arty, coastal town with so much history and resident dolphins leaping in the Firth! Well worth staying on to make a weekend of it.
We can offer B&B accommodation in the Old Brewery. All details are on the website.
