About the Course
This day course will guide you through the the whole process of using liquid light giving you all the knowledge to confidently work with it during your own printing sessions.
You will start the day with a brief tour of the darkroom and an overview of liquid light looking at examples and seeing whats possible. Then you will select the papers, fabrics, tiles and stones you would like to print on and then learn about the preparation of the emulsion and coat your materials. Whilst they are drying you will start test printing on pre-prepared papers. When all your material are dry the print session will continue for the rest of the day with our course leader helping you gain a good knowledge of this exciting process.

What will we cover?

What you need to bring:
Just your negatives, 35mm & 120. Images or text on acetate if you wish to make liquid light photograms. You can work on one image throughout the course or several of your choosing. Bring your lunch (12.30pm-1pm) or take advantage of all the delicious offerings on level 5 of the Peckham Levels.
What we provide:
All materials and chemistry is included. If theres something you would particular like to print on please feel free to bring it along!

Where will the course take place and how many people will attend:
The course will take place in the Bright Rooms workshop & darkroom with a maximum of 5 people attending. Why just 5? Because it allows us to run a very personal course that attends to the individual needs of all our participants.
