This workshop is held at Llyn Clywedog in the relaxed atmosphere of our Creative Hub, overlooking the Clywedog Reservoir and the landscape beyond.
You will be guided by Amy Sterly, an incredible and experienced printmaking artist. Through this workshop you will be able to gain first hand experience in linocut printmaking, and knowledge of tools and materials. You can use whatever you like as inspiration in your design, including the breathtaking landscape around the Hub.
Suitable for any ability, including complete beginners. Appropriate social distancing measures will be in place throughout. Our buildings have disabled access and we have adaptable equipment.
Amy will guide you through the creative process and show you how to;
- Carve your design
- Ink your lino carving
- Transfer your print
- Use printmaking equipment and tools, including the printing press.
Amy Sterly has exhibited throughout the UK, Europe and USA, and has over 30 years’ experience in sculpture, printmaking, and art. She regularly hosts printmaking workshops and Wales and is currently the Artist in Residence at Radiate Arts.
Cancellation and a full refund can be obtained up to 2 weeks before the course starts. Start dates may be amended on request.
