About the Course
In this three hour workshop you will learn how to cut an A5 lino block, create your own design and then print it on a variety of papers and fabrics.
In the studio we have lots of examples and material to get you started on your design ideas. Come along and make some unique cards or a print of your design, as a gift or to hang at home.
Your tutor Sue has been working with print for a number of years and is passionate about encouraging people to experience the joy of making.
On arrival at the studio you will be welcomed with refreshments and cake, (all our courses come with cake it is an essential resource for artists).
Sue will show you how to transfer your design to lino, and then how to cut your lino safely. You will then be taught how to select and use inks and to print your designs using a roller press onto your choice of materials.
