About the Course
Spend a day learning to lino cut and make prints from your lino cut piece.
You will each be making a sample lino cut, then learn how to use a picture, photo or freehand drawing to make a design, how to transfer your design to the lino ready for cutting, and how to use lino cutting tools to prepare the lino to make a print. You will also learn how to make a print from your finished lino cut, perhaps to take home to frame or to put onto a card. You will be able to take your sample and your individual project home. As a group we may also be able to discuss how to use different colours for lino cuts (which we can then explore further in an intermediate workshop for more advance lino cutting designs and printing).
