A socially distanced creative class with personal KIT suitable for beginners & those with some experience. Learn to design, cut & print!
In this 3 hour class led by Liverpool Artist Catherine Carmyllie you will work with your own print kit which has been developed and put together by Catherine using equipment & materials from her own working practice.
Note - You will not share any equipment or materials. A wash up bowl per person is provided along with everything else you will need. This venue is a gorgeous space - Covid friendly with a minimum of at least 1 metres between each workstation.
Catherine will show you examples and talk about the print process (from a distance) You will do a brief warm up exercise & then design your own artwork.
Lots of templates for those without an idea - don't worry that's totally normal! Cut away for 45 minutes and then begin printing using the set of 3 inks included in your kit. Print 10 greetings cards (Christmas??) or cut in half and use them as 20 postcards - frame up as original artwork.
Note - (as far as I understand...) currently workshops & classes follow the same government guidance as education/work at office and therefore face masks are required. Group size 6 plus teacher. Social distancing and sanitiser is required. However, we are monitoring any changes to the advice please be prepared for any updates.
If government imposed restrictions prevent the class going ahead a full refund will be provided or a credit note if you prefer.
For any concerns or queries please get in touch.

What a fabulous afternoon spent with Catherine on her lino cut course at Chemist & Co. The venue is great, with loads of space to spread out, and Catherine is a great teacher. She came armed with loads of inspiration for our lino cut cards, and loads of fab colours for the printing. I love my cards and will be sneding them out with pride. Thank you Catherine.
