Life drawing is valuable for improving your understanding of the human form, your powers of observation and thereby to advance your drawing abilities. You will be encouraged to work big and bold in a variety of different media of your choice.

What's included in the price?
A traditional drawing and painting course working directly from the portrait model. There will be several models for this course with the same sitter for two or three sessions.
Participants will explore a selection of drawing and painting techniques, including careful consideration of proportion to achieve a good likeness, and basic anatomy. Students will be encouraged to use different media during the course such as pencil, pen and wash, charcoal, soft pastels, acrylic paint and other water- and oil-based paints.
Participants are expected to supply their own drawing and painting media for this course, for example pencils of different grades, putty rubber, charcoal, artists pastels, oil crayons, acrylic paints and oil paints. Paper and basic drawing materials will be available.
This course is suitable for both beginners and more advanced artists.
