About the Course
Drawing the human body from an experienced live model, this one day course will offer the chance to hone and develop your drawing and observation skills. Suitable for beginners and more experienced artists alike, you will be supported both as a group and on an individual basis and run you through a programme of drawing exercises, from warm up short gestural sketches, quick tonal studies and active poses, through to longer more considered works.
An experienced teacher for over ten years, Laura Rich studied Graphic Design and Illustration at Bath Spa University. She works full time from her studio in Wiltshire where she completes both private and commercial commissions; her contemporary landscape paintings are sold in galleries across England and are held in private collections internationally. Alongside teaching drawing and painting techniques to adults, she co-coordinates Wiltshire’s largest art trail The Wylye Valley Art Trail.
