About the Course

Suitable for beginners, you will create a stunning foot stool during this 4 week course and will cover the basics of both traditional and modern upholstery techniques.

You will work with professional upholsterer Bob Lyons who has been in the trade for over 45 years and learn to reach a high standard of finish.
Sculpt your stool shape with various foam layers and bring a fabric of your choice to complete your look.

You will take home a fantastic large foot stool to be proud of and which will serve you for many years.

There is a small range of fabrics in the studio which will be available at no cost. Queen Anne Legs for the stool are available to buy on the day for £19 or you may choose to bring your own legs, this will be discussed in the first week.

If booking with a CraftCourses voucher for part or all of the course fee, please fill in the contact form above. Your voucher code must be provided at the point of booking.

What's included in the price?

The base and all foam will be provided. You will need to purchase a magnetic hammer, legs for your foot stool and fabric for the top if you would like to source your own.
These are all available online or can be purchased from us in the studio.
Light refreshments will be available throughout.
