Description:

Have you wanted to learn to weave but don't know where to start?

Then come along to a weaving class at Weft Blown's studio, based in Craft Town Scotland.

These one day weaving classes will show you how to plan, warp, and set-up the looms, before learning to weave various patterns on them.

Once you've learned to weave you can also come along and learn how to do double weave with 2 heddles on a rigid heddle loom, or advance your weaving skills on techniques that you want to learn.

At the end of each class you are able to take home your own handwoven cloth, as well as handouts from the day.

Classes run form 1030-1530.

Dates for the classes can be found on Weft Blown's website, apart from the table and floor loom classes where it is best to contact Weft Blown directly to arrange a date.

Booking can be done online, by phone, or email.

Do get in touch if you have any questions

What's included in the price?

Tea, coffee, and biscuits are provided. You can bring your own packed lunch, or you can get lunch at the local cafés and deli in the village.

Want to review this course?

This was the first course that I did with Ange Sewell, and it was fantastic. Ange is a natural teacher, and the atmosphere was totally relaxed. Experimentation was the order of the day, within a framework of clear information, good demonstrations, and a very useful handout. Great fun was had, and there is an *enormous* stash of materials with which to work.

Suffice to say, I became a weaving addict, that day!
