This workshop is suitable for beginners/intermediate sewers. If you have attended my "Get to know your sewing machine" or other beginners workshops, then this is the perfect next step!
Sewing in a zip isn't as hard as you may think, making a zipped pouch is a good place to learn the basics, you can then progress to making many more items and even dressmaking.
We will make two pouches, both with lining and a zip.
Once you have mastered the technique you will be able to make them in varying sizes for different uses, to suit you. The make great gifts too and so much nicer to give a handmade gift!
You will need a zip foot for your machine most machines come with one in your accessory pack (if you are not sure if you have one please contact me to discuss)
Fabric and zips are provided in the cost
