About the Course
In this four week course we’ll make reusable alternatives to disposable items. Bring your own fabric items to upcycle, or fabric can be provided for you.
Week one: The Basics
How to set up and use a sewing machine, different stitches, sewing straight and curved lines, and make a drawstring bag.
Week two: Bathroom
Learn how to make reusable cloth sanitary pads and make up wipes.
Week three: Kitchen
Dish scrubbers and reusable kitchen roll, helping to replace some disposable items from your kitchen.
Week four: Lunch on the Go
Perfect for packed lunches and picnic, make a reusable sandwich wrap and cutlery roll. Make great Christmas gifts.
