About the Course

Join a 10 week art class on Friday mornings in Henley on Thames.

Please note: there will be no class during half term (please see our website for a full list of the dates on which this course runs).

Improve your drawing skills and explore the importance of composition, proportions, light and shade and so much more...

​Classes will focus on drawing using pencils and charcoal, experimenting with texture, colour and blending and building on the basic concepts of drawing.

​Held in the beautiful, relaxed surroundings of the Henley School of Art

​All levels welcome - be prepared to be hooked!

Materials list

Range of soft pencils (3B - 9B)
Putty rubber
Pencil rubber (plastic)
Charcoal pencils
Few sticks of willow charcoal
Paper stump (tortillion)
Black Ink and brush
Felt tips
Drawing pens in a variety of tip thickness
Coloured pencils
Cartridge paper pad 10” x 12”
or 14” x 12” or thereabouts

Not everything is essential but the more variety you have the better.
