Description

Whether you’re an absolute beginner or seasoned writer, this fun interactive workshop is designed to help you connect with and liberate your writing voice. In the latest in our series of creative writing workshops, the focus will be on the art of writing short stories. You will be guided through a variety of practical and imaginative exercises and given the opportunity to write, share (if you would like to) and encourage one another. Many of us long to express in writing what we feel and experience, yet resist trying to access that authentic voice within. Why not join us on an autumn Saturday afternoon and unleash your imagination and creativity? Lots of tea, coffee and homemade cake are included. The class will be taught by experienced and popular writing teacher, Janette Simpson, who has led many creative writing workshops with both adults and children. Participant numbers are kept deliberately low (maximum 8) to ensure that everyone has plenty of opportunities to contribute and to ask questions. “I had a wonderful experience attending the creative writing workshop. It was an intimate experience where we were encouraged to participate in smaller exercises to hone in on our skills. Fabulous!”
