Enjoy the Latin rhythms of Salsa, Mambo, Cha Cha Cha and Samba without the need for a partner in this Line Dance class with a difference. Each set routine is performed solo in lines but all of the dances will be based on a Latin American dance. This class gives you the best of both worlds with some strict tempo technique but in a free and creative setting.

This course is designed for anyone who is interested in learning the basics in Latin Line Dance.

What does this course cover
This course will introduce Latin rhythms such as Mambo / Salsa, Cha Cha Cha, Rumba and Samba through line dance routines performed without a partner. They will be performed to music to explore each rhythm and develop musicality. Routines may be one-, two- or four-wall line dance routines or they may be performed in the round sequence-style.
1, Demonstrate a range of Latin dance steps in short line dance routines.
2, Perform steps and movements in time to a range of music, showing rhythmical interpretation.
3, Take part in a group routines demonstrating a culmination of the skills learned.
