Watercolour industrial landscape painting inspired by L.S.Lowry

A wonderful session spent in a garden studio/ gallery in the beautiful market town of Alford. You'll be working with watercolours and being inspired by the beautiful industrial landscape paintings of L.S. Lowry. You will learn about this amazing artist as well as re-creating your own individual watercolour painting in his style. We will learn about and use his colour palette in your paintings. We will also look at his 'matchstick men & women' and learn how to draw and paint them. The workshop is suitable for all abilities. The painting is in watercolours and you will use a number of watercolour techniques & block watercolours. The session is artist-led. The class is small ( maximum is 8 ) so, there is plenty of 1-1 tuition.

I am an Artist/ Qualified Teacher living and practising my art from my stunning garden Art gallery/ studio in Lincs. I run Art workshops throughout the year. My workshops are diverse and cover painting in watercolours, acrylics, mixed media & drawing with a range of media, batik & lino printing. My 'Watercolours & Afternoon Tea Experience' are popular, why not treat yourself & friends? Fancy a unique and quirky private arty party in the garden gallery? You choose the day, time, medium and subject. My gallery has a permanent exhibition of my work. I now offer pottery sessions, and hand-building using slab, coil & pinch pot techniques. Workshops are a maximum of 6 which ensures quality tuition.
