A fantastic workshop! So clearly explained and well paced. Great advice given all through. It was so nice to have a finished item to be proud of to take home. I will definitely make another wool painting.
Did not know what to expect but Raya soon made everyone feel at home and we were quickly to work on our creations. Raya is an excellent teacher, engaging and encouraging and provides an excellent choice of wool and frames for use on the course. It was fascinating to see how the pictures evolved throughout the day and lovely to take something beautiful home as a memento. Highly recommended by someone who was a complete beginner!
I enjoyed the day very much learning a new technique working with wool. It was very relaxing and inspiring. I am a complete beginner in wool painting and Raya took her time to show and explain every step. I had lots of support and encouragement and created a lovely wool painting which I am so proud of. I am definitely coming back for more workshops at Magic Wool Studio. Thank you, Raya.
I had a great day with Raya at her Magic Wool Studio. I have learnt a Magic Technique of creating a painting with wool fibres. I had never heard about wool painting before the course. I loved it. Raya inspired me so much to make more and more wool paintings. Fantastic experience. Would recommend it to anyone.
I attended a wool painting course with Raya Brown in Kidderminster. I really enjoyed exploring merino wool fibres and creating a fibre picture using Raya's methods and techniques. Raya as encouraging and made me, as a beginner, feel at ease. Raya is a practicing artist. Her lovely work was displayed in the studio and inspired me. I feel very proud of my wool painting that I created at course. I would definitely recommend this workshop to others.
Thoroughly enjoyable day. Friendly welcome, excellent tuition for a total novice with no previous art/craft experience + those with experience. Well structured, great pace. I am totally amazed by what can be created in such short time. Thank you!
I enjoyed the course and took away a wool painting I created. Raya is a professional artist who has gathered a wealth of skills working with wool and loves sharing her experience with her students. My wife couldn't believe what I had achieved on my first ever wool painting course using Raya's techniques. It has inspired my wife to book a wool painting workshop with her friend. I thought the course was very relaxing and I would recommend this course to anyone.
A thoroughly absorbing workshop. I had never worked with wool before and I had not appreciated what a flexible medium it is. Using fibres in a creative landscape and blending the colours was both both exciting and refreshing with an amazing and colourful outcome. Raya’s patience and skill in demonstrating and teaching was much appreciated. Thank you. John.
