In each session you will learn a different shape and how each one is created.

The workshop is aimed at Intermediate lace knitters.
(If you are not familiar with Shetland Lace Knitting- look out for our beginners classes to learn the basics first.)

You will need to bring lace weight yarn (preferably in a light colour to make the stitches more easily seen) and size 3.25mm needles.

Shetland Lace Knitting is a particular style of knitting that developed in the Shetland Islands and was one of the main exports of the Island during the early part of the last century. The work of the very talented knitters of the Shetlands is world renown and still very popular to this day.
