At The Old School you can knit, crochet, chat, spin and drink wine in front of the wood burning stove at this 4 star B&B, which has a Trip Advisor Certificate of Excellence and a Taste Scotland award. Meals and accomodation are included. The Old School has a wonderful atmosphere and we will have the whole place to ourselves. Max 7 people. Each bedroom is a whole classroom lovingly restored, in what was a rural school house. The rooms are all large and double or twin. We will work in the comfortable sitting area with wood-burning stoves and enjoy Mike's home cooking.
Venue 2. Orchard Lodge is set within the extensive grounds of a stunning Edwardian house (which now serves as a conference centre), this stylish modern detached house, with its own private entrance, has been designed to a very high specification and boasts seven bedrooms, each with en-suite facilities. Elegantly furnished and particularly thoughtfully finished, the living room overlooks the orchard and has the added feature of a ‘glass wall’, allowing a wide field of view to be taken in. A large grassed garden is available for sole use, and there are very attractive mature gardens and grounds surrounding the conference centre, which have fine views of the Ochil Hills. Max 8 participants.
