Knitting, Crochet and Fibre Retreats
The Old School, Dalleagles, Ayrshire.
£295 own room, £250 sharing, £170 non residential, £70 non participating partners.
These small, intimate Retreats are organised by Janet and you will have her individual guidance for projects and learning. She will have contact with you before hand and help you decide what you want to work on during the retreat. All yarn and fibre arts welcome.
Knit, crochet, chat, spin and drink wine in front of the wood burning stove at the 4 star Old School B&B, which has a Trip Advisor Certificate of Excellence and a Taste Scotland award. Meals and accomodation are included. the Old School has a wonderful atmosphere and we will have the whole place to ourselves. Max 7 people.
The Old School B&B is wonderful. Each bedroom is a whole classroom lovingly restored, in what was a rural school house. The rooms are all large and double or twin. We will work in the comfortable sitting area with wood-burning stoves and enjoy Mike's home cooking. If you want to share with a friend who is also coming on the retreat, there is a £20 discount for sharing. Partners who are not doing the retreat are welcome to share your room for a very reasonable price.
What's included in the price?
Yarns and knitting needles, crochet hooks or anything else that is needed in order to do the mini workshops will be supplied. Meals and accommodation are included in the residential price. All meals except breakfast included in the non residential price.
What to bring: any projects you want help with, yarns to complete work in progress, completed work you would like to share with others, any questions or queries you would like help with.
