About the Course
Make an attractive kitchen notice board and place mats!
Join me for a lovely fun day and leave with some beautiful accessories for your home. Held in the little village hall in Sheldon, near Bakewell in the heart of the Peak district this workshop is for anyone looking to spend the day creating.
Print a piece of fabric to make a beautiful notice board, finish with pretty ribbons and your own unique pins. Sew a matching shelf trim, print the fabric and edge with lace and create a sample padded place mat, embroider and hand quilt. You will leave with enough fabric to make 3 more mats at home.
I have sewn and created items for my home and other peoples from being 8 years old, I have been lucky enough to always work with fabric, having spent 5 years in an interior design shop and currently as a seamstress working in a local historic house where i have been for 6 years. I want to share my love and knowledge for textiles and to give you a lovely day you have enjoyed.
