About the Course
4 Week Course - 8th/15th/22nd/29th June
An introduction to painting, focusing on differing approaches to observational and imaginative work. The children will learn how to organise a palette, mix colours and create different textures, as well as understanding the colour wheel. Each week the children will learn about different types of paints and how they are used, what paper they are used on, and how you can apply them.
They will also experiment with a range of watercolours, learning techniques such as layering, masking out and creating textures, to gain basic skills and an insight into the possibilities of this exciting medium. Includes some work from observation, as well as their imagination.
An informative and exciting course for children who want to explore and develop their art skills.
